...ELEVATED FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS EXPECTED THIS AFTERNOON AND
EARLY EVENING...

A record warm airmass with highs in the upper 60s to mid 70s,
combined with afternoon dew points dropping to around 30, will
lead to humidity values falling as low as 20 to 25 percent by
late afternoon. West winds will increase through the afternoon
with gusts up to 25 mph. This will lead to elevated fire weather
conditions. Check with local authorities about any burn
restrictions before starting fires.
