...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT CENTRAL DOUGLAS AND NORTH
CENTRAL POPE COUNTIES UNTIL 6 PM CDT...

At 525 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 6
miles northeast of Lowry, or 10 miles south of Alexandria, moving
northwest at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
  Alexandria, Brandon, Lowry, Kensington, Holmes City, Leaf Valley,
  Garfield, Forada, Farwell and Alexandria Airport.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Monitor the weather situation closely and be alert for threatening
weather conditions.
