...ELEVATED FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS ARE FORECAST TO DEVELOP ACROSS
CENTRAL MINNESOTA AND WESTERN WISCONSIN THIS AFTERNOON...

The combination of breezy winds and dry conditions will create
elevated fire weather conditions today. Westerly winds are
forecast to sustain between 10-15 mph and gust up to 25-30 mph
this afternoon. Relative humidity is forecast to drop to 25-30
percent during peak afternoon heating. These conditions will
work together to support elevated potential for rapid fire
spread.

For more information on burning restrictions for Minnesota, see
www.dnr.state.mn.us/forestry/fire/firerating_restrictions.html.

For more information on burning restrictions for Wisconsin, see
apps.dnr.wi.gov/wisburn.
