URGENT - FIRE WEATHER MESSAGE
National Weather Service Twin Cities/Chanhassen MN
1025 PM CDT Fri Oct 4 2024

...RED FLAG FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS POSSIBLE ACROSS PORTIONS OF
WESTERN MINNESOTA SATURDAY...

.Winds will be elevated through the day on Saturday, which will
allow for any fires that form to spread quickly. As a cold front
passes across the region, expect relative humidity values to fall
to near 25 percent. This combination of high winds and low
humdities could create critical fire weather conditions. The
uncertainty currently revolves around how long RH values will
remain low. If this period is brief then it may remain near
critical rather than Red Flag worthy on Saturday.
