Spot Forecast for McIver RX...USFWS
National Weather Service Twin Cities/Chanhassen MN
757 AM CDT Sun Apr 26 2026

Forecast is based on ignition time of 1000 CDT on April 26.
Please contact our office if you have questions or concerns with
this forecast.

.DISCUSSION...
For the McIver burn, we don`t expect much change in conditions
today, from what they currently are. Clouds and light rain showers
will linger across the region, with light northeast wind.

Overall, confidence is low to medium in the wind direction, since
8am observations show light northeast winds around 5-10 mph.

We do expect northeast winds at the start of the burn to gradually
transition to more easterly by later this afternoon. This should
keep the smoke away from Cty Rd 19.

Looking ahead, widespread rain will move in late this evening and
overnight. If you have any questions, please give us a call.
