...CRITICAL FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS EXPECTED LATE MORNING
THROUGH EARLY EVENING OVER WESTERN THROUGH SOUTHERN MINNESOTA...
.DISCUSSION...
After a frontal passage winds will mix down and the air will
remain dry allowing for critical fire weather to the west and more
elevated fire weather to the east. All together this will not be a
good day to burn anywhere and an especially bad day for burning in
the Red Flag area. As we approach sunset and start to cool,
conditions will improve with winds falling and RH values rising.
Wednesday will see lighter winds and Thursday will have rain
chances. Friday is the next day to keep an eye on for fire weather
as it looks to be both breezy and dry. It will be dependent on
the state of fuels to see how Friday ends up.
