.DISCUSSION...
A dry airmass will remain in place through mid-week, with minimum
RHs in the 30s and a few upper 20s today. The lowest RHs
(central/eastern MN) do not align with the strongest winds (in
western MN) so we have opted not to issue a Special Weather
Statement at this time. RH values are forecast to be in the 30s in
western MN, where winds could gust 15-20MPH. Widespread frost
this morning, with areas north of I-94 experiencing the first
freeze of the season. A gradual warming trend will send highs back
into the 70s by late week, but dew point values increase, too.
The next best chance for precipitation arrives for the second half
of the weekend.
