...FLOOD WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL 9 AM CDT MONDAY...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is occurring.

* WHERE...A portion of west central Minnesota, including the
  following counties, southwestern Lac qui Parle and western Yellow
  Medicine.

* WHEN...Until 900 AM CDT Monday.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
  and flood-prone locations is occurring.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 1117 AM CDT, emergency management reported numerous county
    roads in western Yellow Medicine county in the warned area
    due to heavy rain from thunderstorms yesterday and overnight.
    Flooding is already occurring. Between 7 and 9 inches of rain
    fell in the warned area.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Canby, Porter, Providence, Burr and St. Leo.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
