...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in
Minnesota...

  Cottonwood River Above Springfield affecting Brown County.

  Minnesota River at New Ulm affecting Blue Earth, Nicollet and
  Brown Counties.

  Minnesota River at Henderson MN19 affecting Scott, Le Sueur and
  Sibley Counties.

  Minnesota River near Jordan affecting Scott, Carver and Sibley
  Counties.

  Minnesota River at Granite Falls HWY 212 affecting Yellow
  Medicine, Renville and Chippewa Counties.

  Minnesota River at Morton affecting Renville and Redwood Counties.

  Minnesota River at Montevideo affecting Yellow Medicine, Lac qui
  Parle and Chippewa Counties.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.

* IMPACTS...At 801.0 feet, Flood gate at 18th South Street is closed.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 845 AM CDT Saturday, the stage was 800.4 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 845 AM CDT Saturday was 800.5 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 801.2
    feet early tomorrow afternoon. It will then fall below flood
    stage Thursday morning.
  - Flood stage is 800.0 feet.

    ending at 930 AM CDT Saturday was 22.9 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
    late this evening and continue falling to 14.8 feet Saturday,
    August 30.
  - Flood stage is 22.0 feet.

* IMPACTS...At 732.5 feet, Water begins encroaching on highway 19
  east of Henderson.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 930 AM CDT Saturday, the stage was 731.7 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
    just after midnight tonight to a crest of 732.5 feet Monday
    evening. It will then fall below flood stage Thursday
    evening.
  - Flood stage is 732.0 feet.

* IMPACTS...At 25.0 feet, Low lying areas and some roads along the
  river begin to flood and private sanitary sewers may experience
  problems.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 845 AM CDT Saturday, the stage was 24.2 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
    early tomorrow afternoon to a crest of 25.4 feet early
    Tuesday morning. It will then fall below flood stage early
    Friday morning.
  - Flood stage is 25.0 feet.

    ending at 915 AM CDT Saturday was 885.7 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to remain steady above flood
    stage at 885.6 feet.
  - Flood stage is 885.0 feet.

* IMPACTS...At 24.0 feet, Fleischer Rd flooded in North Redwood;
  storm sewers closed off and bypass pumping begins.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 900 AM CDT Saturday, the stage was 24.1 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 900 AM CDT Saturday was 24.2 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall to 22.3 feet
    Saturday, August 30.
  - Flood stage is 21.0 feet.

  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 16.0
    feet this afternoon.
