...The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in
Minnesota...

  Cottonwood River Above Springfield affecting Brown County.

  Redwood River near Redwood Falls affecting Redwood County.

...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in
Minnesota...

  Cottonwood River at New Ulm affecting Brown County.

  Minnesota River at Granite Falls HWY 212 affecting Chippewa,
  Renville and Yellow Medicine Counties.

  Minnesota River at Morton affecting Renville and Redwood Counties.

  Minnesota River at Montevideo affecting Chippewa, Lac qui Parle
  and Yellow Medicine Counties.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.

  forecast.

* WHERE...Cottonwood River above Springfield.

* WHEN...Until Friday afternoon.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 830 PM CDT Monday, the stage was 25.8 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 830 PM CDT Monday was 25.8 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 27.1
    feet early tomorrow afternoon. It will then fall below flood
    stage Thursday evening.
  - Flood stage is 22.0 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
    26.8 feet on 09/22/1986.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Cottonwood River at New Ulm.

* WHEN...From Tuesday afternoon to Friday evening.

* IMPACTS...At 13.0 feet, Flood waters begin to impact Cottonwood
  Street west of the river.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 800 PM CDT Monday, the stage was 9.0 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
    early tomorrow afternoon to a crest of 12.3 feet early
    Wednesday afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage
    early Friday morning.
  - Flood stage is 11.0 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
    12.4 feet on 06/01/2004.

* WHERE...Redwood River near Redwood Falls.

* WHEN...From Tuesday evening to Saturday evening.

* IMPACTS...At 6.0 feet, Low lying areas, mainly farmland, and some
  roads along the river begin to experience flooding; bottom of
  Swayback bridge

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 800 PM CDT Monday, the stage was 4.6 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
    late tomorrow evening to a crest of 6.7 feet early Thursday
    morning. It will then fall below flood stage early Saturday
    morning.
  - Flood stage is 6.0 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
    6.6 feet on 05/21/1944.

  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 815 PM CDT Monday was 885.3 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 885.9
    feet Friday morning.
  - Flood stage is 885.0 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
    886.0 feet on 06/22/2012.

  storm sewers closed off and bypass pumping begins.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 800 PM CDT Monday, the stage was 23.0 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 800 PM CDT Monday was 23.0 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 24.8
    feet Thursday morning.
  - Flood stage is 21.0 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
    24.4 feet on 03/31/2009.

  - Forecast...The river is expected to remain steady above flood
    stage at 15.9 feet.
