Fire Weather Planning Forecast For Inland Southeast Mississippi...
Southwest Alabama And The Extreme Western Florida Panhandle
National Weather Service Mobile AL
1202 AM CST Sun Nov 9 2025

...HIGH (75+) DISPERSION INDICES EXPECTED SUNDAY OVER INTERIOR
PORTIONS OF SOUTHEAST MISSISSIPPI AND SOUTHWEST ALABAMA...

...HIGH (75+) DISPERSION INDICES EXPECTED MONDAY ACROSS THE
ENTIRE AREA...

.DISCUSSION...Isolated to widely scattered showers and storms are
possible over the southern half of the area Sunday morning. Dry
conditions follow for the remainder of Sunday and for Monday.
Afternoon relative humidity values remain above critical levels
Sunday and drop to near 23-28% on Monday. With sustained 20 foot
winds up to around 15 mph, in combination with existing drought
conditions and the low humidity values, concerns for dangerous
burning conditions are increasing for Monday, and a Red Flag
Warning may become necessary. Transport winds will be mostly
northwesterly Sunday and Monday. Dispersion index values will be
generally good to good Sunday and good to excellent on Monday.

Fog potential and other remarks... Some patchy fog is possible
this morning. Fog development is not expected tonight or Sunday
night.
