...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 930 AM CDT THIS MORNING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Portions of southwest Alabama, including the following
  county, Baldwin and northwest Florida, including the following
  counties, Escambia and Santa Rosa.

* WHEN...Until 930 AM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
  Ponding of water in urban is imminent.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 736 AM CDT, Doppler radar and nearby rain gauges indicated
    heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is expected
    to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches
    of rain have fallen in a short period of time.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Pensacola, West Pensacola, Warrington, Gulf Breeze, Orange
    Beach, Goulding, Lillian, Myrtle Grove, Oriole Beach, Perdido
    Beach, Pensacola Beach, Beach Haven, Brownsville, Pleasant
    Grove, Millview, Quinavista, Villa Sabine, Seaglades,
    Chanticleer and Paradise Beach.


PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
