...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 445 AM CDT EARLY THIS MORNING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Southeastern Baldwin County in southwestern Alabama...
  South Central Escambia County in northwestern Florida...

* WHEN...Until 445 AM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 147 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. Minor flooding is expected to begin shortly in the
    advisory area. Between 1 to 2 inches of rain have fallen with
    heavy rain continuing to fall across the same areas.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Warrington, Lillian, Perdido Beach, Elberta, Perdido Heights,
    Paradise Beach, Perdido Bay, Chanticleer, Seaglades, Millview,
    Pleasant Grove, Quinavista, Miflin and Beach Haven.


PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
