...FLOOD ADVISORY NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 630 PM CDT THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

* WHERE...A portion of southwest Alabama, including the following
  county, Baldwin.

* WHEN...Until 630 PM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
  Water over roadways.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 448 PM CDT, emergency management reported heavy rain in
    the advisory area due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is
    already occurring. Between 5 and 7 inches of rain have
    fallen.
  - Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is
    expected.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Foley, Orange Beach, Perdido Beach, Elberta, Miflin,
    Josephine and Caswell.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
