...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT WESTERN SEMINOLE COUNTY THROUGH
730 PM EDT...

At 655 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Sanford, moving southeast at 10 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph, frequent lightning, and half inch
         hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Sanford, Winter Springs, Casselberry, Lake Mary, and Longwood.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or hard-topped vehicle. Remember, when
thunder roars, go indoors!
