...Daytona Beach NOAA Weather Radio Is Off The Air...

The Daytona Beach NOAA weather radio transmitter KIH-26, operating
on a frequency of 162.400 megahertz is currently off the air.
Technicians are working to restore service as soon as possible.

This transmitter serves Volusia, Lake, Brevard, Orange, Seminole,
Putnam and Flagler counties.

While normal broadcasts are interrupted, the National Weather
Service in Melbourne suggests that NOAA Weather Radio listeners in
these counties tune to their local media outlets for the latest
National Weather Service watches, warnings and statements. Official
National Weather Service information is also available at the
