...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM APPROACHING THE WATERS...

The areas affected include...
  Flagler Beach to Volusia-Brevard County Line 0-20 nm...
  Volusia-Brevard County Line to Sebastian Inlet 0-20 nm...

At 933 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated a strong thunderstorm, capable
of producing winds to around 30 knots. This thunderstorm was located
over Apollo Beach, or over Oak Hill, moving east at 10 knots.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher
waves, and lightning strikes. Boaters should seek safe harbor
immediately until this storm passes.

Frequent cloud to water lightning is occurring with this storm. If
caught on the open water stay below deck and, if possible, avoid
ungrounded metal objects. Remember, lightning can strike beyond 10
miles away from a thunderstorm.
