This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for east central Florida.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

.RIP CURRENT AND SURF IMPACT...
A high risk of life-threatening rip currents exists at all
central Florida Atlantic beaches. Entering the water is highly
discouraged. If caught in a rip current, relax and float. Don`t
swim against the current. If able, swim in a direction following
the shoreline. If unable to escape, face the shore and call or
wave for help.

.WIND AND SEA IMPACT...
Boating conditions are forecast to deteriorate tonight as a
tightening pressure gradient causes increasing northeast winds
across the local Atlantic waters. Seas will begin to build to 5
to 7 feet across the offshore waters as a result, with a Small
Craft Advisory beginning late tonight.

.RIVER FLOOD IMPACT...
The Saint Johns River continues a slow decline, remaining around
Moderate Flood Stage at Astor and around Minor Flood Stage near
Deland.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.
A high risk of rip currents is forecast to continue on Wednesday.
Boating conditions will remain poor to hazardous mid to late
week, with a Small Craft Advisory in effect through at least
Thursday.

Residents and interests along the Saint Johns River near Astor
will continue to experience Minor to Moderate flood impacts for
the foreseeable future. The river at Deland is forecast to fall
below flood stage this week.

Higher than normal astronomical tides will have the potential to
cause minor coastal flooding mid to late week.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
Spotter activation will not be needed today and tonight.
