A Moderate risk of life-threatening rip currents exists at all central Florida Atlantic beaches. Always swim near a lifeguard and never enter the water alone. If caught in a rip current, relax and float. Don`t swim against the current. If able, swim in a direction following the shoreline. If unable to escape, face the shore and call or wave for help. .RIVER FLOOD IMPACT... The Saint Johns River continues a slow decline, remaining in Moderate Flood Stage at Astor and in Minor Flood Stage near Lake Harney, Deland, and Sanford. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday. A High risk of dangerous rip currents is forecast this holiday weekend. Boating conditions will deteriorate again Saturday into early next week as winds increase and seas build. Isolated lightning storms will return to east central Florida Monday afternoon and evening mainly south of Orlando and Cape Canaveral. Interests along the Saint Johns River near Astor and Deland will continue to experience minor to moderate flood impacts for the foreseeable future. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
