This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for east central Florida.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

.RIP CURRENT AND SURF IMPACT...
A High risk of life-threatening rip currents exists at all
central Florida Atlantic beaches. Entering the water is highly
discouraged. But if you nonetheless decide to enter the surf and
get caught in a rip current, try to relax and float. Don`t swim
against the current. If able, swim in a direction following the
shoreline. If unable to escape, face the shore and call or wave
for help.

.WIND AND SEA IMPACT...
Small craft should exercise caution this afternoon for increasing
east winds and building seas. A Small Craft Advisory will go into
effect this evening as winds approach 20 knots and seas build 5
to 7 feet.

.RIVER FLOOD IMPACT...
The Saint Johns River continues a slow decline in Moderate Flood
Stage at Astor and in Minor Flood Stage near Lake Harney, Deland,
and Sanford. River levels near these points will continue to
experience Minor to Moderate Flood impacts this weekend.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday.
A High risk of dangerous rip currents is forecast this holiday
weekend, including Veterans Day. Boating conditions will be
hazardous on Sunday and improve slightly Monday before
deteriorating again mid to late week.

Increasing moisture from the south will produce scattered showers
and isolated lightning storms on Monday.

Residents and interests along the Saint Johns River near Astor
and Deland will continue to experience Minor to Moderate Flood
impacts for the foreseeable future.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
Spotter activation will not be needed today and tonight.
