.DISCUSSION...

Widespread, dense fog is forecast to persist near the burn site
through much of the morning. A Dense Fog Advisory remains in
effect through at least 10 AM, and extensions in time of the
advisory cannot be ruled out, especially if fog lingers. Light
winds through the morning and into the early afternoon are
forecast to become easterly as a weak sea breeze develops and
moves inland. These light winds mean that dispersion values are
forecast to remain poor near the site through the entire day. Rain
is not forecast near the burn site, and minimum RH values are
forecast to remain well above critical thresholds in the upper 60s
to low 70s. Fog development will once again be possible early
evening into the overnight hours, first developing across the
nearshore Atlantic waters and then moving inland.
