.Discussion...
A few isolated showers are observed in vicinity of I-4 this
afternoon. Otherwise, dry conditions are forecast through the
remainder of the week with no mentionable precip. MinRH values begin
to approach critical thresholds across the north interior Friday and
into the weekend as afternoon temperatures climb through the 90s. A
Moderate Heat Risk is expected to build late this week with peak heat
index values nearing 100 degrees by Saturday. Light southwest winds
remain less than 10 mph, slightly increasing along the coast as the sea
breeze develops and struggles to move inland each afternoon. Fair to
generally good smoke dispersion becomes very good across far northern
portions of Lake and Volusia counties.
Fog potential and other remarks...Widespread fog is not forecast.
Localized visibility reductions due to smoke from new or existing
fires will be possible even if fog is not forecast.
