.DISCUSSION...
In the wake of a strong cold front, northwest winds will remain
breezy Tuesday with occasional gusts around 20 mph, particularly at
the coast. These winds decrease to 10 mph or less mid to late week.
Notably drier air arrives along with the colder airmass, and Min RH
values will plummet into the 25 to 35 percent range Tuesday. Even
drier air filters south Wednesday, with Min RH between 20 to 30
percent areawide. Sensitive RH values around 30 percent return
Thursday with additional RH recovery late week into the weekend.
Fair to generally good smoke dispersion is forecast Tuesday and
Wednesday.
Fog potential and other remarks...Widespread fog is not forecast.
Localized visibility reductions due to smoke from new or existing
fires will be possible even if fog is not present.
