.DISCUSSION...
A wet pattern will continue this weekend and into early next week,
as a stalled front lingers across north Florida, maintaining a very
moist airmass across the area. Rain chances through tomorrow remain
high, around 80%, with numerous showers and storms shifting eastward
across the area and offshore. Showers and storms should get off to
an earlier start (perhaps even a tad bit earlier than today) mainly
near to north of Orlando through the morning, and then continue to
increase through the afternoon across all of east central Florida
before it mostly shifts offshore by late afternoon to early evening.
High rain chances(70 percent) will continue on Monday, with activity
pushing across central Florida and offshore in the Atlantic through
the afternoon and early evening. Higher rain chances and increasing
cloud cover each day should limit highs to the upper 80s to low 90s,
with peak heat indices of 100-107 degrees ahead of showers and
storms. Some stronger storms will be capable of frequent lightning
strikes, gusty winds of 40-50 mph and locally heavy rainfall.
Winds will generally be out of the west-southwest each day around 10-
15 mph Sunday, and 5-10 mph on Monday. The increase in offshore flow
and earlier start to showers and storms should prevent the east
coast sea breeze from developing each day. No Min RH concerns
forecast, with dispersion values Good to Very Good Sunday and Monday.
Fog potential and other remarks...Widespread fog is not forecast.
However, localized visibility reductions due to smoke from new or
existing fires will be possible even if fog is not forecast.
