.DISCUSSION...
High pressure settles in over the local area through the weekend,
with southwesterly flow prevailing. This will lead to a more
dominant west coast sea breeze, pinning the southeasterly east coast
breeze at or near the coast. Winds 10 mph or less. Also, with the
sea breeze collision occurring on the eastern half of the peninsula,
will see the chance for scattered showers and storms persist through
Sunday, mainly in the mid afternoon to evening hours. Hot and humid
conditions each day, with afternoon highs in the lower to mid-90s
and heat indices 100-105 degrees. No min RH concerns. Generally good
dispersion, though areas north of I-4 are forecast to see excellent
dispersion by the mid-afternoons.
Fog potential and other remarks...Widespread fog is not forecast.
However, localized visibility reductions due to smoke from new or
existing fires will be possible even if fog is not forecast.
