.Discussion...
An area of high pressure will remain situated across the eastern
U.S. through the remainder of the weekend and into early next
week. Locally, conditions are forecast to remain mostly dry,
though a slight increase in moisture across the Florida peninsula
combined with the persistent northeast flow has led to continued
development of some light, isolated showers. This will continue
tonight through Monday, with coverage potentially increasing
slightly as more moisture moves into the area. The persistent
northeast winds will remain breezy, with wind speeds of 15 to 20
mph and gusts up to 30 mph possible through the period. Minimum RH
values will remain above critical values, generally falling
between 60 to 70 percent over the next couple of days. Afternoon
smoke dispersion will be generally good Sunday and Monday.
Fog potential and other remarks...Fog is not forecast. However,
localized visibility reductions due to smoke from new or existing
fires will be possible even if fog is not forecast.
