.Discussion...
An area of high pressure is forecast to remain situated across the
western Atlantic, keeping conditions dry and warmer than normal
across east central Florida. Rain chances through the remainder of
this week are forecast to stay below 10 percent, with sensitive
fire weather conditions anticipated locally. Breezy southeast
winds are forecast to persist, with wind speeds of 10 to 15 mph
and gusts up to 25 mph possible each afternoon. Minimum RH values
are forecast to fall into the 35 to 45 percent range across much
of the interior, remaining higher in the 50 to 60 percent range
along the coast. Afternoon smoke dispersion values are forecast to
be very good to excellent both Friday and Saturday.
Fog potential and other remarks...Fog is not forecast. However,
localized visibility reductions due to smoke from new or existing
fires will be possible even if fog is not forecast.
