.DISCUSSION...
An active period of weather is expected to continue with plentiful
moisture in place. South-southeast winds at 5-10mph are forecast
each day through the weekend. Scattered to numerous showers and
lightning storms are forecast to increase in coverage into the late
afternoon and evening as collisions occur between easterly flow, the
west coast sea breeze over western central Florida, as well as
outflow from previous storms. Rain chances are forecast to gradually
diminish at around 9PM. Rain chances (~50-90% chance) remain high
through the weekend across east central Florida with scattered to
numerous showers and lightning storms forecast to develop each
afternoon and evening (greatest potential between 12PM-8PM). Storm
motions will be slow and will vary from onshore to offshore. The
potential exists for isolated strong storms each day.
Near to above normal high temperatures in the upper 80s to low 90s
with heat index values up to 102F-107F degrees are forecast. There
are no critical RH concerns. Dispersion values will be Poor to Fair
through the weekend.
Fog potential...Widespread fog is not forecast. Localized visibility
reductions due to smoke from new or existing fires will be possible
even if fog is not forecast.
