.DISCUSSION...
High pressure weakens today with north to northwest winds at 5-10
mph this afternoon. The east coast sea breeze has formed this
afternoon along the coast, where it is forecast to remain pinned,
turning the winds onshore. A cold front passes central Florida
Thursday, shifting winds north-northwest with speeds of 5-10 mph.
High pressure then rebuilds late week with light and variable winds
Friday and northeast to east winds increasing to 5-10 mph on
Saturday. Mostly dry conditions are forecast for the next several
days. Drier air behind the front will make min RH values sensitive
across portions of east central Florida Thursday and Friday,
becoming near critical north and west of I-4 on Friday. Generally
good smoke dispersion is forecast today and Thursday with poor to
fair smoke dispersion on Friday.
Fog potential and other remarks...Widespread dense fog is not
forecast. Localized visibility reductions due to smoke from new or
existing fires will be possible even if fog is not forecast.
