.DISCUSSION...
A nearly stationary front across central Florida will maintain deep
moisture coverage over the local area through at least Thursday,
limiting fire weather concerns, outside of lightning strikes. Shower
and lightning storm chances will remain 60-80%, again today, then
start decreasing (north to south) later in the week. Storms will be
slow-moving, with the threat for locally heavy rainfall remaining
primary. Surface winds are forecast to remain generally light,
increasing slightly behind the sea breeze in the afternoon. Cloud
cover and precipitation will keep high temperatures near to slightly
below normal, in the mid 80s to near 90. No min RH concerns, with
Poor to Fair dispersion through Thursday, becoming Generally Good
across the north while remaining Fair down south for Friday.
Fog potential and other remarks...Widespread fog is not forecast.
However, localized visibility reductions due to smoke from new or
existing fires will be possible even if fog is not forecast.
