.Discussion...
Weak high pressure and a summer-like pattern is forecast to
prevail across east central Florida for the remainder of the week
and into the weekend. Light, generally southerly winds the next
several days will allow for development of the east and west coast
sea breezes in the afternoon, with a collision across the
interior in the evening, causing winds to shift throughout the day.
A plume of moisture remains situated across the peninsula, with
minimum RH values forecast above critical thresholds. Afternoon
smoke dispersion values are forecast to become fair to generally
good on Thursday, then poor to fair Friday.
Fog potential and other remarks...Patchy fog that could become
locally dense is forecast across much of east central Florida late
tonight into early Thursday morning, though chances are slightly
lower than previous days. Fog development will continue to be a
concern over the next several days. Localized visibility
reductions due to smoke from new or existing fires will be
possible even if fog is not forecast.
