.DISCUSSION...
Isolated to scattered showers (20-60% chance) and lightning storms
are forecast to develop this afternoon and evening as collisions
occur between sea breezes and outflow from previous storms. The
potential exists for isolated strong storms. Scattered to numerous
showers (60-70% chance) and lightning storms are forecast to develop
in the afternoon and evening on Saturday, as well as Sunday. The
potential exists for strong to marginally severe storms storms on
Saturday and Sunday. Afternoon highs in the low to mid 90s are
forecast with heat index values up to 100-107F degrees.
There is a Limited fire potential today for all of east central
Florida and for the Treasure Coast, as well as Okeechobee county on
Friday and through the weekend. No critical RH values are expected.
Dispersion values will be Poor to Fair Friday and Fair to Generally
Good on Saturday.
Fog potential...Widespread fog is not forecast. Localized visibility
reductions due to smoke from new or existing fires will be possible
even if fog is not forecast.
