.DISCUSSION...
There are no Min RH concerns through next week. Elevated rain and
storm chances continue through Sunday before returning to a more
typical summertime pattern, driven by the daily sea breeze
circulation. Surface winds will remain south-southeasterly into
Sunday, turning more east-southeasterly through the first half of
the week (peaking 10-15 mph, mainly at the coast). High temperatures
increase a degree or so each day, approaching the low to mid 90s by
Tuesday and Wednesday. Humidity does stick around, so heat index
values steadily climb alongside temperatures this week. Peak indices
reach 102 to 107 degrees mid week. Generally good smoke dispersion
is forecast through Monday.
Fog potential and other remarks...Widespread fog is not forecast.
However, localized visibility reductions due to smoke from new or
existing fires will be possible even if fog is not forecast.
