Synopsis for Flagler Beach to Jupiter Inlet out to 60 nm
1028 AM EDT Tue Mar 11 2025

.SYNOPSIS...Strong low pressure is located southeast of Cape
Hatteras this morning. It moves seaward today, as high pressure
approaches from the Gulf. Northwesterly breezes begin to relax
this afternoon and into tonight. The surface high pushes into the
Atlantic late this week, with winds turning southeast to south.
Another cold front approaches the waters late in the weekend, with
fresh to strong south winds returning ahead of it.

.GULF STREAM HAZARDS...Northwest winds 20 to 25 knots with gusts
to 30 knots this morning, decreasing to 15 to 20 knots late this
afternoon. Seas 6 to 12 feet this morning, subsiding to 5 to 9
feet late this afternoon.

The approximate location of the west wall of the Gulf Stream based
on the Real Time Ocean Forecast System as of Monday, March 10th.
