Synopsis for Flagler Beach to Jupiter Inlet out to 60 nm
903 AM EST Thu Feb 19 2026

.SYNOPSIS...Lingering rough seas near the Space and Treasure Coast
inlets during the twice daily outgoing tides, from interaction
with a persistent long period swell. Otherwise, generally
favorable boating conditions as the ridge axis of high pressure
extending to Florida from the western Atlantic settles south of
the area through Saturday. A strong cold front pushes through
Florida and the local Atlantic waters Sunday, resulting in
hazardous to potentially Gale Force conditions late Sunday into
Monday. High pressure builds into the Southeast behind the front,
but poor to hazardous boating conditions could persist through
Tuesday, especially in the Gulf Stream.

.GULF STREAM HAZARDS...None.

The approximate location of the west wall of the Gulf Stream based on
the Real Time Ocean Forecast System as of Thursday, February 19th, 2026.

45 nautical miles east of Ponce Inlet.
32 nautical miles east of Port Canaveral.
26 nautical miles east of Sebastian Inlet.
17 nautical miles east of Fort Pierce Inlet.
9 nautical miles east of Saint Lucie Inlet.
