Synopsis for Flagler Beach to Jupiter Inlet out to 60 nm
957 AM EDT Sun Aug 17 2025

.SYNOPSIS...High pressure over the eastern U.S. extends weakly to
Florida, as distant Major Hurricane Erin moves north of Puerto
Rico. While Erin is forecast to gradually turn north and pass east
of the local Atlantic waters, boating conditions are expected to
deteriorate Monday and remain hazardous through mid-week due to
large swell from Erin. The primary hazards will be higher seas and
treacherous currents near inlets and jetties, especially during
the outgoing tide cycles.
