Low lying property including homes, businesses and some critical infrastructure may be inundated. Shoreline erosion may occur. Dangerous swimming and surfing conditions and localized beach erosion. Rip currents can sweep even the best swimmers away from shore into deeper water. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Conditions favorable for coastal flooding are expected to develop. Coastal residents should be alert for later statements or warnings and take necessary actions to protect flood-prone property. High surf will affect the beaches in the advisory area, producing localized beach erosion and dangerous swimming conditions. Swimmers should remain out of the water due to large breaking waves and dangerous surf conditions. Rip currents are powerful channels of water flowing quickly away from shore, which occur most often at low spots or breaks in the sandbar and in the vicinity of structures such as jetties and piers. Heed the advice of lifeguards, beach patrol flags and signs. Entering the surf is strongly discouraged. If caught in a rip current, relax and float. Don`t swim against the current. If able, swim in a direction following the shoreline. If unable to escape, face the shore and call or wave for help. && $$ FLZ154-159-164-347-447-647-747-100900- /O.EXT.KMLB.CF.Y.0001.000000T0000Z-251010T0900Z/ /O.EXT.KMLB.CF.A.0001.251010T0900Z-251012T0800Z/ /O.CON.KMLB.RP.S.0024.000000T0000Z-251012T0800Z/ Coastal Indian River-Coastal Saint Lucie-Coastal Martin- Mainland Northern Brevard-Northern Brevard Barrier Islands- Mainland Southern Brevard-Southern Brevard Barrier Islands- 243 AM EDT Thu Oct 9 2025 ...COASTAL FLOOD ADVISORY NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 5 AM EDT FRIDAY... ...HIGH RIP CURRENT RISK REMAINS IN EFFECT THROUGH LATE SATURDAY NIGHT... ...COASTAL FLOOD WATCH NOW IN EFFECT FROM LATE TONIGHT THROUGH LATE SATURDAY NIGHT... * WHAT...For the Coastal Flood Advisory, minor coastal flooding.
