...ELEVATED FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS TODAY OVER PARTS OF
SOUTHWESTERN WISCONSIN...

Prolonged drying of fuels have allowed Build Up Indices rise to
near critical fire weather thresholds in localized areas of
Lafayette and Green Counties. This, combined with highs near 80,
southwest wind gusts between 25 and 30 mph, and minimum relative
humidity values around 25%, will lead to elevated fire weather
conditions over Lafayette and Green Counties this afternoon and
early evening.

Please avoid burning or exercise extra caution during burning
activities this afternoon.
