...DENSE FOG ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 9 AM CST THIS

...SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY NOW IN EFFECT FROM 9 AM THIS MORNING TO
NOON CST SUNDAY...

* WHAT...For the Dense Fog Advisory, dense fog will reduce
  visibility to less than 1 NM. For the Small Craft Advisory,
  northeast winds 15 to 25 knots with gusts up to 30 knots and
  waves 5 to 8 feet expected today into tonight. A few gale force
  gusts may occur this evening. Then, southeast to south winds 15
  to 25 knots with gusts up to 30 knots and waves 4 to 7 feet
  Saturday into Sunday morning.

* WHERE...Nearshore Waters from North Point Lighthouse to
  Winthrop Harbor IL.

* WHEN...For the Dense Fog Advisory, until 9 AM CST this
  morning. For the Small Craft Advisory, from 9 AM this morning
  to noon CST Sunday.

* IMPACTS...Conditions will be hazardous to small craft. Low
  visibility will make navigation difficult.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Inexperienced mariners, especially those operating smaller
vessels, should avoid navigating in hazardous conditions.

If you must navigate, proceed with caution. Use proper fog
signals. Make sure all running lights are on. Remember to use
your radar and compass.
