A Marine Weather Statement has been issued for the following areas...
Lake Michigan nearshore and open waters to mid lake from Sheboygan WI
to Port Washington WI...

At 358 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated strong thunderstorms, capable
of producing winds to around 30 knots. These thunderstorms were
located along a line extending from 11 nm northwest of Little Sable
Point Light to 15 nm east of Sheboygan to 6 nm west of Cedar Grove to
21 nm southeast of Oshkosh, moving southeast at 25 knots.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher
waves, and lightning strikes. Boaters should seek safe harbor
immediately until these storms pass.

While not imminent, waterspouts are possible through early this
evening. Special Marine Warnings may be issued if radar indicates
the potential for waterspouts.
