Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Southern Wisconsin

.DISCUSSION...

The dry and windy conditions are expected to continue tonight
into Friday. Temperatures will be slightly warmer Friday with
highs in the mid 60s to near 70. With the warmer temperatures
dewpoints will also slightly recover overnight which should keep
minimum RH values similar to what they are today in the low to
mid 20s. East Central Wisconsin will have have the highest
minimum RH values near 30 percent where dewpoints are expected
to be higher. Southerly winds will be breezy again tomorrow
with gusts of 25 mph possible.

Heading into the weekend, temperatures and dewpoints will
continue to rise. Minimum RH values are expected to be in the
lower to upper 30s through much of the weekend. As high pressure
to the east strengthens and broadens, the winds will weaken as
well which will help lower some of the fire weather concerns.
