.DISCUSSION...

A cold front will cross the region late tonight, with some
potential for widely scattered showers and thunderstorms along it
(25% precip chances). The cold front and associated precip chances
move clear of the region around 6 AM CDT Saturday morning, with
winds veering northwest and gradually accelerating behind it,
gusting to 25 MPH through the late morning and afternoon hours.

Dry weather expected Saturday through much of the extended
forecast period, with the exception of slight (15%) chances for
showers Sunday afternoon, mainly towards east-central Wisconsin.
Temperatures will trend 8 to 12 degrees below seasonal norms as
persistent troughing in the jet stream lingers overhead. Both
Saturday and Sunday feature northwesterly wind gusts to around 25
MPH, gradually decelerating Monday and Tuesday as high pressure
builds into the region.
