Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Southern Wisconsin

.DISCUSSION...

Fire weather concerns continue through the rest of the weekend
and into early next week. Temperatures continue to climb bringing
high temperatures in the upper 70s to low 80s for both Sunday
and Monday. Overnight dewpoint recovery is expected to be a bit
better overnight into Sunday morning which should result in some
slightly improved minimum RH values in the low to mid 30s.
Southwesterly winds will remain breezy with gusts to around 20-25
mph possible. While winds are expected to relax Monday leading to
calmer winds, minimum RH values are expected to decrease as well.
A surge of drier air from the west and some diurnal mixing is
expected to bring minimum RH values into the mid 20s across
western portions of the area. Confidence is medium for both days
in regards to RH, signals are fairly consistent, but any
increased diurnal mixing or slightly higher temperatures could
drop minimum RH values by a percentile or two.
