.DISCUSSION...

Dry and cool weather is expected through Thursday. High
pressure will be moving in tonight and passing overhead into
Wednesday morning. Light and variable winds are expected with
mostly sunny skies. As the high moves further east late
Wednesday northeast to east winds are expected across southern
Wisconsin. As the high pulls further east Thursday, winds will
continue to back to southerly and bring a return of warm
temperatures. With the high pressure basically overhead
Wednesday, minimum RH values are expected to fall into the mid
to upper 20s. Lakeshore area will be a bit insulated form these
low RH values in the upper 30s. Southwestern Wisconsin will
have the best chance for these low RHs. Was fairly aggressive
on the afternoon dewpoint drops so there is higher confidence
in this being the lowest value even with increased diurnal
mixing. Now the area of lowest RH values will coincide with the
driest areas of FFMC and BUI, but values are not at a concerning
level and winds will be light. Thursday will see a bit of
recovery due to the WAA and southerly winds with RH values
falling into the low 30s to mid 40s.
