.DISCUSSION...

Light sprinkles will gradually taper this afternoon as an upper
disturbance pushes east of the region. High temperatures will
steadily climb to and above normal from the second half of this
week through the weekend, with above normal temperatures
continuing into the beginning of next week. The next chances for
showers and scattered thunderstorms arrive Friday night into early
Saturday as the next disturbance approaches from the west.
