.DISCUSSION...
Mostly dry weather expected through the rest of today, except for
a ~10% chance of a sprinkle of rain north of a Monroe to Fond du
Lac line. Dry and partly cloudy conditions tonight with lows in
the low 50s.
For Saturday, similar temperatures and humidity. Inland highs in
the upper 70s to around 80, cooler by Lake Michigan. Inland
minimum RH in the low 40s percentile, into the 30s towards
central WI. A 10-20% chance for showers and weak thunderstorms,
mainly in the afternoon and evening. A light east to southeast
breeze keeping far eastern WI cooler and more humid.
For Sunday, widespread chances (60-90%) for showers and
thunderstorms along a cold front, mainly between 1 PM and 7 PM
(exact arrival remains very uncertain). A strong storm or two
cannot be ruled out. South winds veer west as the front passes.
Highs in the 70s, minimum RH in the 40s or 50s percentile
depending on the front arrival times.
For Monday, cooler temperatures behind the front. An upper air
disturbance will create a 40-75% chance for showers and
thunderstorms, peaking in the afternoon. A strong storm or two
cannot be ruled out yet.
For Tuesday, a weaker upper air disturbance merits 15-30% chances
for rain in the afternoon. Daytime highs moderate to the low 70s.
The warming trend speeds up thereafter, with highs likely in the
80s for the second half of the week.
