.DISCUSSION...

High pressure will remain to the south of the region today into
Thursday. Partly to mostly sunny skies and warm temperatures are
expected today, with modest west winds. A few showers and storms
may occur this afternoon and evening. Minimum relative humidity
values of 42 to 51 percent are expected, with good smoke dispersal
values.

A warm front should gradually move northward through the area
Thursday and Thursday night, bringing some chances for showers and
thunderstorms. Otherwise, partly cloudy skies and warm
temperatures will continue. Winds will shift onshore near Lake
Michigan by midday and into the afternoon, bringing cooler
temperatures. Minimum relative humidity values of 50 to 60 percent
are expected, with fair smoke dispersal values.
