.DISCUSSION...

Mostly dry weather is expected for much of southern Wisconsin
today. The small chance of rain that remains is a 10-15% chance
for showers this afternoon and evening mainly across far
southern Wisconsin. Temperatures in the low to mid 70s is
expected again today with minimum RH values expected to fall into
the mid 30s. There is small chance that RH values could fall into
the low 30s if moisture advection from the south is weaker than
anticipated.

Widespread rainfall and thunderstorms are expected along a cold
front Sunday. Rain is expected to move through Sunday afternoon
and evening. There is still some uncertainty in the exact timing
that this cold front will move through. A few stronger storms can
not be ruled out. Southeast winds Saturday night will shift to
southwesterly and then west as the front passes Sunday. Minimum
RH values are expected to be higher in the 40s to 50s Sunday.

Cooler temperatures are expected behind the front for the start of
the work week. Showers and storms will continue to be possible
through the day as a low pressure system lingers to our north.
Chances for rain Monday are around 40 to 75% with the best chances
for rain expected to be Monday afternoon. A stronger storm or two
may be possible.
