...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHEASTERN GREENE AND
NORTHWESTERN PITT COUNTIES THROUGH 130 AM EDT...

At 100 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Bruce, or near Greenville, moving west at 15 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Greenville, Farmville, Bell Arthur, House, Bruce, Pitt Greenville
Airport, Fountain, and Falkland.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
