...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHWESTERN HYDE...NORTHEASTERN
BEAUFORT AND SOUTH CENTRAL TYRRELL COUNTIES THROUGH 300 AM EDT...

At 202 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Terra Ceia, or 13 miles northeast of River Road, moving east at 25
mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Belhaven, Sladesville, Ponzer, Scranton, Swindell Fork, Pungo,
Leechville, Winsteadville, Rose Bay, Sidney Crossroads, Terra Ceia,
Yeatesville, Alligator Lake, Swan Quarter Ferry Terminal, Sydney
Crossroads, and Pantego.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
