...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT SOUTHEASTERN DARE COUNTY THROUGH
145 AM EDT...

At 108 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 10 miles east of Hatteras Island Fishing Pier
to 11 miles northwest of Hatteras Ferry Terminal. Movement was east
at 45 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Buxton, Avon, and Avon Pier.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
